Decorating for Year Round Holidays

My online friend Joann has given me permission to showcase some of the pictures she has sent me which show how she decorates her family room for Memorial through Labor Day. These are some lovely special touches with the red, blue and white colours and red stripes on white as well as white stars on blue. This same effect, which she incorporates into her Bears corner, brings harmony and warmth to the room while setting the pace and the place into holiday mood!

This White Christmas tree was bought as an after Christmas bargain and is being used as a Holiday Tree. It was already set with white lights and so red and blue lights were added to complete the holiday effect. Joann made all the beaded ornaments and added some store bought ones acquired from the sales after Christmas. That is a brilliant idea, don't you think?

Thanks Joann for letting me share these lovely pictures and wonderful ideas : )
God bless!

My Easter/Spring Tree

Finally I get to post a picture of my Easter/Spring Tree. I did not have access to our camera earlier as my son was on holiday over the Easter holidays and needless to say he got priority to using it to capture some memorable photoes, some of which I will share in another posting.

Here is a close-up of some of the decorations, thanks to my friend Cathy in Montana who very generously sent me these lovely decorative eggs and other decorations for my tree.

I also love your Yo-Yo eggs ~ well done and thanks Cathy!

My appreciation also goes to my dear Secret Sister from my favourite Craft forum who sent me this lovely handmade Easter card with cute tags in individual pockets, well done and thank you so much!

We are still enjoying our Easter tree and hope you will enjoy the pictures and this idea.
God bless and Happy Crafting!

Year Round Tree ~ St. Patrick's Day

Here is how I decorated my tree for St.Paddy's Day...I left my Valentine's Day hearts on the tree and added some Shamrock decorations, put a crocheted clover pin at the top and decorated around the base with decorative coins. Thanks to my on-line friends who have so generously sent me these great add-ons for my tree.

Here is a closeup of the crochet pin at the top of the tree with one of the shamrock decorations on the lower branches.

The picture on the right shows the shamrock decoration in more detail along with a 'Thinking about you' Tag from my Secret Sister from the Voy Craftsayings Board which will stay on the tree all year.

I love the 'Blessings to this House' Card from my SS...

I have been counting the coins (thanks Cathy) beneath the tree and with a sigh, praying they might turn to real gold and multiply!

Joking apart, I would like to thank God for my family and friends
who have added cheer and so much fun
to making this St.Patrick's day
a memorable one!
Happy St.Patrick's Day
God bless you all!
